Normal Healthy Discharge

Presents as either thin, milky, or clear-white without a foul odor or itchiness.

Infection Red Flags

  1. Cottage Cheese-clumped: A sign of a Yeast Infection (Candidiasis).
  2. Yellow/Greenish: Often smells “fishy”, pointing to Bacterial Vaginosis (BV).
  3. Blood-Tinged: Signifies cervical inflammation.

Medical Risks

Untreated Bacterial Vaginosis severely magnifies the risk of spontaneous preterm birth.
